In awe of working mothers

Today I want to give a big shout out and a hug to working mothers. I’m feeling especially privileged and blessed to be in the circumstance that I am, where Marty can work full time and I can be home full time. I may feel like it’s awfully hard, but I’ve spent some time with a couple of women who I am close with who work full time and have several children this week and that- that would be hard.  Continue reading

Carefully crafting my words

A week or so after the election, I came across a blog and Facebook page that someone had created to expand the political bubble that they realized they had been living in. The group is still quite small, and was started by someone in northern California with political leanings very much on the left, and so far, much of the group seems to reflect similar demographics.  Continue reading
